American History Fun

A few weeks ago I was sent on a really fun assignment by Express (the free newspaper made by the folks as The Washington Post) to photograph the American History Museum as its renovation was nearing completion. It was pretty neat seeing every thing covered, boxed up and in a total state of disarray. And earlier this week the photos ran:

I have to admit that my job is pretty exciting. I get to ride in Presidential motorcades, be present for historical moments and meet the occasional movie star. It’s been a little while since my last post as I recover from the election. But I have a few updates:
An image from my Watergate Deconstructed series is part of the current Humble Arts Group show (here)
You can also see the entire series on my wesbite (here)
I was also fortunate enough to have my America: An Excessive Satire series in the Washington DC Slideluck Potshow III event last night. It was an honor to share the screen with the likes of:
Allison Shelley, Jacquelyn Martin, Juliana Beasley, Karine Aigner, Brendan Hoffman, Louie Palu, Melissa Golden, Stephan Janin, Susanna Raab, George Steinmetz, and William Christenberry.
It was great being in a room full of photographers cheering at a whole lot of great work.
