It’s been a while since I’ve tossed up any clips. So here’s a sampling from the last month or two.

PDN Photo Of The Day

July 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Yesterday a photo of mine was selected to appear on the Photo District News Photo Of The Day Blog. The photo is from a series I did two years as the contents of the Watergate Hotel were sold off room by room to the public prior to a planned renovation. Last week the hotel was sold at auction because the owners could no longer afford the renovations or the property itself because of the economic downturn. You can see the full series on my website [here].

The fine folks at Fortune magazine picked two of my photos of ammo for the current issue of the magazine. Including one that was used as a double truck!

Had some more clips come way, including a double whammy from the New York Times that brought my first ever photo in the print edition of the paper.

American History Fun

November 22, 2008 · Leave a Comment

A few weeks ago I was sent on a really fun assignment by Express (the free newspaper made by the folks as The Washington Post) to photograph the American History Museum as its renovation was nearing completion. It was pretty neat seeing every thing covered, boxed up and in a total state of disarray. And earlier this week the photos ran:

In America Everybody Has A Gun

October 8, 2008 · 3 Comments

I was sent this little gem today. The image is from my thesis project America: An Excessive Satire, project blog here, photo essay here. I’m glad to see it found a double truck as a home. The page title roughly means “Child’s Play” and the sub title (thanks to a comment from Brian) translates to ” In the US, you can fire heavy machine guns for fun. Good for minors…”
